One more coat to go on the Amas and I can put them away and get back to the main hull.  They're not perfect, but good enough for an adventure racing boat.

I'm still scratching my head and trying to decide what I want to do for the mast mounting system so I decided to at least get the ama's completed and out of the way.  I'm regretting the decision to tape the seams in an effort to save on weight.  A lot of sanding to get all the edges feathered.  It would have been easier to wrap the hull in 4 oz cloth.  Got the first coat of primer on one of the ama's today and should be able to do the other tomorrow.

Mast base details.  I made the base for the mast tube and made a mock-up of the roller bearing plate.  I need to have some one fabricate the roller bearing part out of aluminum.
I used a pool noodle with a dowel in the middle to stand in for the mast so I could get it all centered.
