With parts all over the floor it looks like a boat exploded in my garage.

Trying to get the fitting and geometry right on the rudder headstock. This photo shows what would not work. I already fixed the problem and the parts are ready to be glued up.
On the Lower Rudder Gudgeon I would get it a lot lower than that (If you haven't already). The outer bolt hole on the lower strap will need to be cut off shorter to allow it to be mounted low down on the transom without sticking out either side. I'll get you a spacing dimension on the gudgeons from the model. -Alan

That's about as low as I can get it from fitting against the actual transom. I've already cut come larger cheek spacers. Please send the dimensions.
