The main hull deck is stitched together and on the boat.  It has to be tack glued together on the hull to get the shape.  Then it's removed and flipped over so I can place the fillets on the underside.  Next step will be fiber-glassing the underside.  Once the underside is glassed I'll put it back on the boat and cut it into sections to fit around the cross-arm structures.

  1. What's the aft slot? Does this hull have two daggerboards?

  2. It has a centerboard and a trimming skeg aft for better control running downwind.

  3. Good idea. I could have used one during this downwind run when my rudder lost all effectiveness in the chop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXqHUgxaIBc
